My degree is officially finished as I handed in the last assignment this morning, and after weeks of nervously clinging to the short stories and proofreading until the screen is a smear, I’ve sent that off too.

Only thing left that I have to do this month is write the paper for the Oceans of Short Stories conference in Liverpool next month.  I’ve got the extracts I’ll be reading chosen and notes for the actual paper itself.  Just a case of writing it, screwing it into a ball destined for the bin, write it again, feel sick, learn it and go.

I promise I’ll put something ‘writerly’ up here soon.  Have just been submerged in work recently.
