Since bluechrome are accepting s.s. collection submissions next month, I figured it was about time I started organising my pile of writing and looking at assembling it in some fashion.  Currently it stands at 40K in three sections:

Short Stories - The 3K - 8K stories

Bang Bang   - The flash fiction and pieces less than 3K

Endure - A short explanatory prelude to the very questionable short story ‘Endure’.  I’m not sure if this is publishable.  According to my marks at Uni, it’s the best thing I’ve written, but it also made people cry at the reading, hence the disclaimer and possibly its own section.

Some of them need more revising than others but it feels good to have them all chosen and put together in one place.  I can now spend the next four weeks editing and polishing on the side of finishing up my last batch of uni work.  Once that’s done, hopefully ‘Dolls’ will be back from the editor for revising.  If not, I can start on the non-fiction book I’ve started to write…
