First review of ‘Dolls’
The fantastic Brandon Wilkinson has very kindly written a review of ‘Dolls’…

‘Kayleigh J. Moore’s debut story is a fun and extremely entertaining look at the BDSM scene. The tale focuses on Gabe and Tilley, both of whom have progressively edged their way into the fetish world. A friend, Ben, suddenly dies as a result of suffocating while wearing a gimp suit. Was it an unfortunate accident or was there more to his death than meets the eye? Gabe and Tilley take it into their own hands to find out the truth, which requires overseas travel in order to pin-down the people in the know. They are determined to bring justice, but it is as much an excuse to continue their nomadic existence and experience more tainted encounters along the way.
Dolls is a very well-written piece of fiction. The descriptive dialogue and scene setting is particularly strong and there is an extremely nice balance of graphic detail, suspense, and most definitely comedy. There is humor littered throughout and tremendously clever at times. There is one scene in particular where the two lead characters are planning a visit to a Dominatrix - ironically for Gabe as it turns out - named Mistress Ram. He fills out a sizeable “Submissive BDSM Play Partner Check List” in order to provide the Dominant with an overview of limits, favorites, or indeed a measure of common notions. Four pages of the book are devoted to this checklist that contains more “activities” than you could ever imagine. Gabe’s rating of each of these (over two hundred) in terms of previous experience in addition to willingness to participate, caused me a mixture of emotions including rolling around laughing and physical clenching. It was an extremely enjoyable and thought provoking list that created some awesome visual pictures that really elevated the insight into the mind of Gabe.
Overall, Dolls is dark, edgy, and comedic throughout, and a must read for those into the BDSM scene and even more so for those who are not – it will be a fun journey for all.’
