A first real reading
Well, Dolls is getting its first reading on Monday morning to a group of second year Creative Writing students. I’ve been asked to talk about my experience of the publishing process with bluechrome and do a reading. I reckon I’ll use the chapters I’ll be using at the launch next year - apparently some of them are quite impressionable, so Darth Bitch could leave a mark…
The contract was sent off yesterday and the manuscript along with other assorted goodies just a few moments ago. It’s really happening. My horrible, horrible words are going to be unleashed upon the world. I can’t wait for my first banning. I’ll hold a signing outside, with chocolate brownies of course.
